Employee Information Management Module

Summary:
Add a dedicated Employee Information Management section where administrators can store and manage comprehensive employee data beyond basic user accounts.

Current Situation:
While Heffl offers user accounts for staff members and basic employee management tools, there is no centralized location to store detailed employee information such as:

  • Personal details (date of birth, address, emergency contacts)

  • Employment information (hire date, contract type, salary, work schedule)

  • Documents (contracts, certifications, ID copies)

  • Skills and qualifications

  • Leave balances and history

  • Performance notes

Proposed Solution:
Create an "Employees" or "Team" section in the main navigation with the following capabilities:

  1. Employee Profiles – A dedicated profile page for each employee containing personal information, employment details, and custom fields

  2. Document Storage – Ability to upload and organize employee-related documents (contracts, certificates, ID copies)

  3. Custom Fields – Allow administrators to create custom fields to capture company-specific data

  4. Role & Department Assignment – Assign employees to departments and define organizational hierarchy

  5. Employment History – Track position changes, salary adjustments, and contract renewals

  6. Access Control – Granular permissions so employees can view their own data while managers access team information
