XML and ZUGFeRD

Both formats are based on the EU standard EN 16931 and thus comply with the EU requirements for e-invoices. "ZUGFeRD" is a hybrid e-invoicing format that combines a machine-readable XML file with a human-readable PDF file.

The XML file contains structured data for automated processing, while the PDF file provides a visual representation of the invoice, similar to a conventional PDF invoice.
